"Seiza" is a Japanese term for "proper sitting." A Seiza bench takes the weight off of your legs and feet and allows you to sit and meditate for longer periods.

This unique design is held together by a mortise and tenon with a pin through the tenon to secure it. There are no screws or hinges.

The bench is made from a good solid piece of Oak. If requested, other wood materials (i.e.: Walnut, Maple, Cherry or Ash) can be made (prices vary by wood species).

Each bench is made to order and will be ready to ship in 5 to 7 business days.

I often sit on my Seiza bench while watching TV as it puts me in a good posture and reduces stresses on my back.
