Event Highlights:

 

Aiki Camping - 13 Aikidoka were camping at the Falcon Lake Campground during the September long weekend.

 

It was a fabulous weekend getaway with friends and family. There was good food and drink, games, swimming and a challenging hike on the Hunt Lake Trail.

 

Toby gets Shodan!!

 

On Friday, February 22, 2008 while studying in the Aikido of San Leandro dojo - Patricia Hendricks Sensei tested Toby for his Shodan.

From April 19th to 30th, Doug Sensei was in Japan as an Uchi Deshi with Hitohiro Saito Sensei.

 

This was a fabulous experience to learn and train in Japan with one of the top instructors in the world.

 

Assiniboine Park - Weapons and Picnic

 

We had a great time at the Assiniboine park - the weather was perfect.

 

It was decided that weapons in the park will be a regular scheduled event to happen every second Wednesday :-).
